Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: A First Look at the Retro Cowabunga Collection

Digital Eclipse, Konami and Nickelodeon bring 13 vintage games from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch and Steam with the Retro Cowabunga Collection.

The turtle ninjas are coming back

Announced at State of Play in March, the Retro Collection brings Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo to life in 8-bit, 16-bit and full arcade glory.


Digital Eclipse will release the collection of 13 retro titles. Here is a full list of the Turtles games in the Retro Cowabunga Collection and the platform they were originally sold on:

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Mega Drive)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Mega Drive)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan (Game Boy)

With this package you can look forward to additional improvements. These include online versions of some players, local co-op, the ability to save and rewind at any time, eleven regional Japanese versions, a key binding, pictures and sketches from development and other nostalgic content for the ninja turtles.

The package is scheduled for release later this year and will cost $39.99. You can choose between the digital and physical version.
