There is news about TLoU series.

Back in February, HBO’s chief content officer, Casey Bloys, announced that The Last of Us series would no longer flicker across our screens this year. “We haven’t given a date for the broadcast yet,” it said at the time. “But it won’t be 2022. They’re still shooting in Calgary.” Filming is now complete and post-production is in full swing. Apparently the work is going well, because Bloys is now narrowing down the period for the start of series production.

When will The Last of Us air on HBO?

That is new: In an interview with the Hollywood reporters Casey Bloys let himself be lured out of cover and gave a small update on the state of production of The Last of Us.

When asked when we can expect production to start, Bloys replied: “We’re headed towards early 2023.

Exactly what that means remains open. Everyone understands something different by the beginning of the year, but it should probably start before the summer of 2023. The wording “towards” suggests that it won’t be in January or February. As of now, even if there is room for interpretation here, a series start in spring 2023 seems likely.
