PS Plus Extra and Premium: new additions in July 2022

After Sony at the end of June the Games for subscription service PlayStation Plus had announced, now followed the titles for the upgrade versions PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium. The two subscription models have been available since June 2022 and give subscribers additional extras, such as access to a games catalogue.

This catalog will be filled with new games again in July 2022. Highlights of the month include the cat adventure “Stray”, Marvel’s Avengers such as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.

PS Plus Extra and Premium also includes Assassin’s Creed and Saints Row

Stray is a third-person cat adventure released July 19 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 appears. Subscribers to the PS Plus tiers Extra and Premium can right at release Slip into the role of a stray cat at no additional cost.

Additionally, in July, subscribers will get access to Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. This is the first in a three-part reboot project of 1997’s Final Fantasy VII. The second in the series, Final Fantasy VII Rebirthwas recently announced for winter 2023.

In Marvel’s Avengers players control different Marvel heroes through different missions. These can also be done in single player as well as in multiplayer with up to three players.

In addition to Stray, Marvel’s Avengers and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium subscribers will also have access to the following games starting July 19:

Premium members also get the opportunity to play PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP games from a classic catalogue. This will be expanded in July 2022 with “No Heroes Allowed!” (PSP) and “LocoRoco Midnight Carnival” (PSP).
