Aliens Gets New Action Horror Game – Take Revenge On The Xenomorphs

The Aliens series is getting a new video game offshoot. Not much is really known about this one, but we have compiled all the information known so far for you.

Developers Survios and 20th Century Fox have teamed up for the new action horror game. The title will be a single player based on the well-known film series.

As Survios explains, the project, currently called Aliens, will have an original storyline set somewhere between the events of Alien and Aliens. You play there as a “hardened veteran” who plans a “vengeance against the Xenomorphs”.

Given that Survios is known for its love of VR – think Creed: Rise to Glory, The Walking Dead Onslaught, and Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey – it’s no big surprise that you can also battle the Xenomorphs in virtual reality .

On the official site the studio wrote: “The game will take full advantage of Survios’ expertise in developing immersive and authentic gaming experiences and will be developed for PC, console and VR.” Which consoles this includes in detail is not yet known.

On July 21st there should be more information about the new horror project. So far the website is still pretty empty.
