MontanaBlack has been the victim of a brazen identity theft. A scammer uses the streamer’s data for online shopping.

Buxtehude – MontanaBlack was the victim of identity fraud. He shared this with his fans via Instagram. The Twitch star showed a picture of a letter with a file number. A little later, in the stream, he made it clear that a fraudster had used his identity during the online payment process to buy musical tickets. The streamer is shocked by the audacity and lets out such scams in the stream.

MontanaBlack Identity Theft Victim – Scammer Buys Lion King Tickets

That happened: Because a scammer apparently wanted to have a nice day, MontanaBlack was asked to pay. On Twitch, the streamer says that someone ordered six tickets to The Lion King through his name. After the tickets were subsequently not paid for, a collection agency sent a letter to MontanaBlack’s grandparents’ address. Although MontanaBlack keeps receiving warnings, this time it was probably not justified. Although the identity fraud was quickly cleared up, the streamer is visibly annoyed by the impudence of the fraudster.

Not the first time: As MontanaBlack reveals, it’s not the first time something like this has happened to him. Because the streamer has often been the victim of identity fraud. This is always an annoying matter, but MontanaBlack says himself: “At the end of the day I don’t give a shit because I’m always fine.”. Again, all he had to do was call the collection agency to uncover the fraud. These tricks have never had any consequences for him.

MontanaBlack gets upset about this: The streamer is much more annoyed that the various online portals do not offer secure authentication options. According to MontanaBlack, it is far too easy for fraudsters to commit identity fraud. “People can order hundreds, thousands of dollars worth of stuff online without verifying themselves.” .

MontanaBlack: Food delivered without an order

Pizza home: MontanaBlack kept getting food deliveries to his old address, although he didn’t order anything himself. Because after his address was published, some of the viewers thought it was funny to order the streamer pizza home. The Twitch star finds it particularly sad that the delivery services are left with the food and lose money with such actions.

On a well-known platform, MontanaBlack therefore demanded that his address be blocked for future deliveries. However, according to the site’s customer service, such a thing would not be possible. The streamer then took matters into his own hands and called every delivery service in the area and asked them not to accept orders to his address. With the delivery services he trusts, the Twitch star only orders by phone anyway, since he believes that order apps generate too much of a profit margin.
