After an argument, a boy (6) did the unthinkable: he promptly deleted all of his big brother’s rare monsters in Pokémon GO.

USA – For six years, you can install Pokémon GO on your Android or iOS device and use it to catch the cute monsters in the real world. The game resonated with countless fans, young and old alike. Even in 2022, the AR game will still be very popular. But for some, the game also causes great displeasure.

Pokémon GO: dispute escalates and leads to nasty revenge

It’s all about this: A desperate parent posted a call for help on reddit. It is not clear whether this is the mother or father. In any case, user dascobaz has two sons who probably quarreled recently – as is common among siblings. It is not clear whether the dispute was about Pokémon GO. After the dispute, however, the argument ended in the app, because the little brother (6 years old) secretly took his older brother’s cell phone and opened the AR game.

According to dascobaz, the two brothers have been playing Pokémon GO for several years and have been able to catch several rare and legendary Pokémon as a result. After the argument, the little brother took revenge and summarily deleted all of his big brother’s rare Pokémon and thus several years of hard work. Because for these Pokémon, the big brother had to invest a lot of time in the game and probably put his hard-earned pocket money into the game.

Pokémon GO: Parent Shares Desperate Cry for Help on Reddit

In the internet forum reddit, dascobaz described the tricky situation and asked whether the users had any further suggestions for a solution. After all, the big brother is extremely frustrated and sad – he no longer wants to play Pokémon GO. The support from developer Niantic has probably already been contacted, but on July 7th dascobaz still had no answer from support in the USA.

Unfortunately, the users could not give him or her high hopes either. According to most of the comments, Niantic probably wouldn’t restore its child’s save to how it was before it was deleted. The reason is that support would then have to do this for all players. This is said to be avoided. There were a lot of ideas as to what punishment the little brother should get. Most suggest the 6-year-old should give some of his rare monsters to his brother.

However, some users were also extremely helpful and directly offered to send their big brother some of their rare Pokémon from various events. There are numerous offers from different states of the USA where players offer their rare monsters to the boy. At the Pokémon GO events in July 2022, the boy could also catch new rare monsters.
