The My Nintendo Store will now be unavailable for "a few weeks".

Somewhat surprisingly, Nintendo has put its My Nintendo Store into maintenance mode, which you cannot access at the moment.

This affects several different countries in Europe, including the My Nintendo Store in Germany, like you can see here.

This can take a while

“Maintenance work is currently being carried out on the My Nintendo Store, which is expected to take a few weeks,” says Nintendo on its own website.

Which comes as a bit of a surprise since orders for the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Collector’s Edition should be available there at the end of July. The Collector’s Edition of the game is exclusive to the My Nintendo Store.

Perhaps these are preparatory measures for this? Or are the stores brought up to date or aligned with the UK store? Further details are currently not available.

“During this time, it will not be possible to place orders, or to use or open the My Nintendo Store as before,” it says. “Recently placed orders will be delivered on the date stated in the order confirmation email. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service for more information on the status of your order(s).”
