The Sims 4: Sexual Orientation announced as a new feature

The Sims 4 announces new feature “Sexual Orientation”.

Electronic Arts and Maxis today announced another step to make The Sims 4 immersive experiences even more inclusive.

Later this month, as part of a free base game update, the Sexual Orientation feature will be implemented, which will allow Sims to be attracted to each other in new and flexible ways to give players more freedom in how they play.

The new Sexual Orientation feature will be added to the Create a Sim menu via a base game update to coincide with the release of the High School Years Expansion Pack. This allows Sims to experience the attraction in different ways. Players can give their Sims the following experiences:

• same-sex or opposite-sex attraction
• physical but not romantic attraction
• Romantic but not physical attraction
• No attraction at all
• Experiment with attraction through interactions with other Sims
