Fall Guys: Developers apologize for bug that caused premium items to be purchased
Developer Mediatonic has apologized for an annoying bug in Fall Guys that caused players to “accidentally” purchase premium items.
There were initial reports of this problem on social media, for example Reddit. Users complained that items were “auto-purchased” when they didn’t want them to be.
Not the only problem
There was talk of hidden button assignments triggering purchases, items being exchanged after selection, and so on. Finally, many people complained that they inexplicably had less currency all of a sudden.
Initially, the Fall Guys support team stated that cosmetic purchases were final and refused refunds. But now his attitude has changed.
More Fall Guys news:
“What is happening in the game is not intended and we are in the process of fixing it,” Mediatonic said in the meantime. “The response from customer service was also unacceptable and we will offer redress to all those affected.”
Another tweet states that changes will be made to the store design to avoid such problems in the future. Also, give all players the Grandis legendary costume as an apology and accept all refund requests from June 21, 2022 until the day the store is upgraded.
We heard your feedback on accidental purchases – and we’re sorry!
