Fritz Meinecke reveals the allowed items for the second season of 7 vs. Wild. The show’s favorites are in for a nasty surprise.

Magdeburg – The participants in the second season of 7 vs. Wild will soon be heading into the jungle. In order to survive seven days on the tropical island, the candidates can take a few tools with them. So that it doesn’t become too unfair, Fritz Meinecke and his team have drawn up a list of all permitted items. But there is a special feature in the second season, because not all candidates are allowed to take seven things into the jungle this time. For some, even just one item will make it into the suitcase.

7 vs. Wild Season 2: New balancing system – not everyone gets seven items

This number of items may be used with: The jungle is calling and the contestants of the second season of 7 vs. Wild should slowly think about what to fill their pockets with. Because the wild card winner of 7 vs. Wild is now certain. This time, however, there will not be seven items for each participant. Fritz Meinecke had asked the candidates of 7 vs. Wild in advance to put themselves on a tier list. And apparently not for fun either. Because for this season, the better you have rated yourself, the fewer items you can take with you to the tropical island. As a result, some candidates go almost empty-handed.

Fritz Meinecke explains in a video on YouTube that this classification is a new balancing system. Because in the first season of 7 vs. Wild all participants had previous survival experience, but not in the new season. So that inexperienced candidates like Knossi also have a chance of winning, they are allowed to take more items with them into the wilderness.

7 vs. Wild Season 2: These items are allowed

This is allowed with: Of course, 7 vs. Wild Season 2 contestants can’t just take whatever comes to mind. For this purpose, Fritz Meinecke and his team have drawn up a long list of all permitted items. In addition, the inventor of the show also clarifies which properties the objects are allowed to have and which are absolutely not allowed.

For the shelter: Another innovation this season is that the contestants have to choose between a tarp, a bivouac sack and a hammock. Therefore, if a 7 vs. Wild Season 2 contestant chooses one of these items, no other items may be selected. A normal sleeping bag and a mosquito net are also available under the “Shelter” category. However, you have to pay attention to the design of the individual items, because mosquito nets integrated in the sleeping bag or bivouacs with poles, for example, are not permitted.

Making fire in the jungle: To start the fire, the candidates can choose between fire steel or storm matches. However, the fire steel must not contain any tinder and the quantity of matches is limited. There, only seven pieces may be taken into the jungle. Since it is the rainy season at the time of recording 7 vs. Wild Season 2, lighting the fire could become a real problem. Proper items could bring a big advantage here.

To cut: One of the most important decisions is likely to be the cutting tools. Because as a survival professional, there is always something to cut up. These cutting tools are allowed in 7 vs. Wild Season 2:

• knife
• multi tool
• Axe
• saw
• folding spade

When it comes to cutting tools, care must be taken to ensure that knives, for example, do not contain integrated saws. In the case of saws, only manually operated models are permitted. Large survival tools over 15 centimeters in size are also prohibited.

get food: In order to get food on the tropical island, the participants of 7 vs. Wild Season 2 can opt for a fishing kit. This consists of line, leader and hook, it is not allowed to take a complete fishing rod with you. The candidates also have the option of taking energy bars with them, but they must not exceed 50 grams. This roughly corresponds to a standard bar.

For fixing: One of the most exciting things of the last season was probably the buildings of the various candidates. Also in this season of 7 vs. Wild is to be built again. So that the constructions of the candidates also hold up, the following things can be taken with them:

• Cord max. 30 meters
• Wire max. 30 meters
• Duct tape max. 50 meters

Thick ropes and ropes with an integrated fishing line or tinder line are prohibited in this category.

For cooking: Of course, in 7 vs. Wild Season 2, the contestants need to stay hydrated in the tropical temperatures, and in the best-case scenario, found food can also be prepared. You have the following options to choose from:

• saucepan with lid
• Pan
• water filter
• water bottle

No pot-pan combination may be selected by the participants. Saltwater filters are also a no-go in this category.

For hygiene: A hygiene kit consisting of a toothbrush, toothbrush tablets and a bar of soap is permitted. In addition, the candidates can take sunscreen and a roll of toilet paper with them to the island. Especially the sunscreen could be important for the participants in the tropical temperatures.

New in the second season of 7 vs. Wild is that cigarettes can be taken into the wild for the first time. But here it has to be reduced to 7 pieces. In addition, the participants can take a book with them, which can be a novel, survival guide or an empty notebook.

If the candidates decide to use combo items, these count as two items. However, the following things are strictly forbidden:

• tent
• sleeping pad
• gas cooker
• mobile
• lighter
• electronics
• amounts of food

Clothing is not one of the items to be selected, you just have to make sure that it is not a combination of clothing. The 7 vs. Wild Season 2 contestants will also be outfitted with special items that will, among other things, document their week. These include, for example, a camera or a headlamp. In addition, each participant will receive a first-aid kit and a satellite phone in case of a premature termination. Medicines and feminine hygiene articles are also provided by the organizer.

The cards have been completely reshuffled this season thanks to the new balancing system. The selection of Otto and Fritz is particularly interesting, since both are only allowed to take one item with them to the island. So, 7 vs. Wild Season 2 brings some innovations that will guarantee us an exciting competition.
