Warhammer 3: With Immortal Empires, a new Lords Pack will be released in August
Total War: Warhammer 3 officials have announced the Champions of Chaos Lords Pack. The DLC includes a new campaign, fresh factions and nasty Chaos Lords. The Lords Pack is scheduled to appear alongside the Immortal Empires mega-campaign in August.
We had already reported that the Immortal Empires Mega Campaign Beta for Total War: Warhammer 3 in August 2022 should start. It is now clear that fans of the fantastic strategy brawl should mark August 23, 2022 in red pencil in the calendar for another reason. On that day, the first “Lords Pack” for TWW3 will be released with “Champions of Chaos”.
Packed Mayhem DLC
in one extensive blog post the developers of Creative Assembly presented the new content pack in detail. On the one hand, a completely new campaign is planned, which will bring new mechanics and introduce four fresh legendary lords. You can play the campaign either in “Immortal Empires” or “Realm of Chaos”.
On the other hand, eight new lords and heroes are planned, four unit regiments as well as fresh units and a new Chaos Warshrine. One of the legendary lords, Azazel, is introduced in more detail in the following trailer:
New mechanics include Gifts of Chaos. These are buffs and rewards you can get from the Chaos Gods by bringing them the souls of defeated enemies. You can also build dark fortresses in certain regions that are under your control and use them to unlock the Norscan faction as vassals.
Last but not least, it should be possible to recruit troops immediately as a champion of chaos. These can then advance through multiple ranks of Chaos. You can also dedicate them to a specific Chaos God, giving them buffs. Chaos Lords and Chaos Sorcerer Lords can even be promoted to a special Demon Prince rank.
