Can I expect additional content? Of course, buying or pre-ordering God of War Ragnarök also means you can secure additional content before the release. Depending on which version of God of War Ragnarök you choose, you will get different extras for your game.
This is in the Standard Edition: The Standard Edition is the normal game, in its purest form. In this version of God of War Ragnarök you only get the game, but you have to do without additional content. These are limited to the Launch Edition and the other versions.
What’s in the Launch Edition: You can buy the Launch Edition of God of War Ragnarök at larger electronics retailers and chains, such as Saturn and MediaMarkt. In addition to the main game, you also get two suits of armor for Kratos and Atreus as a download.

What’s in the Digital Deluxe Edition: You can only pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition of God of War Ragnarök directly from the PlayStation Store, but Sony has already added some content for you. There’s also a whole bunch of in-game items, as well as the soundtrack, an art book and an avatar set for your PSN profile.

What’s in the Collector’s Edition: Now only the big fish are coming. For the Collector’s Edition of God of War Ragnarök you have to pay 249.99 euros, but you also get some really exclusive items. The big star here is a replica of Thor’s Mjölnir hammer, but there are also other cool goodies like a dice set and a second set of carvings, just like in God of War (2018). You also get all the digital content of the Digital Deluxe Edition.
