Lost Ark community decides to be nicer - newcomers rejoice in valuable gifts

Chat in Lost Ark and other MMORPGs is often hostile, sarcastic and not a pleasant experience, especially for new users. The endgame players of Lost Ark are now joining forces and simply want to be nicer.

What is the problem? With the big July update on the 20th of the month, the new Mokoko challenge appeared in Lost Ark. This ensures that new players can be immediately identified as such by means of an icon next to their name.

A problem in Lost Ark at the moment is that although there are many players, most of them are in the endgame. Meanwhile, really new fans of the MMORPG sometimes have a hard time connecting or finding real help when it comes to bosses and mechanics.

This often resulted in new players being greeted awkwardly in chat if they played “wrong”, as other players assumed they were experienced people.

Help is coming: But now that new players can be recognized by their badge, that’s changing. The Lost Ark community has therefore decided to be nicer. A large reddit thread is currently dealing with the topic and calls for exactly that.

The thread garnered over 1,100 upvotes and 172 comments in less than 24 hours. The author wants to encourage the community not only to use their knowledge negatively. He writes:

Thanks to the small icons, we now know that these are new players. We have to take care of them, explain mechanics to them even in low-level dungeons and give them tips for their equipment. Let’s all be a better community together.

This is also very well received by the readers in reddit. Many agree and agree that one should support new and returning fans. This can improve the climate in the chat for all players. Many experienced players even share their discord name and server directly, encouraging them to message them if you need help.
