Pokémon GO: "Hisui Discoveries" Bring Three New Monsters - All Event Content

In a few days, the event “Hisui Discoveries” will start in Pokémon GO, which will bring you several new Pokémon. MeinMMO shows you what they are and what content you can expect.

What is this event? Originally announced as a surprise event, the themed event now has a name: Hisui Discoveries. The focus is on the Pokémon of the Hisui region. For this reason, one or the other new monster celebrates its debut in the game:

  • Hisui-Fukano
  • Hisui-Baldorfish
  • Hisui Sniebel

Of course, you can also look forward to numerous other spawns and special bonuses. We have summarized what these are for you below.

When is the Hisui event running? The event starts on July 27, 2022 at 10:00 local time and runs until August 02, 2022 at 20:00 local time.

What is the Hisui region? The Hisui region is a bygone region that will later be replaced by the Sinnoh region. It was introduced with the main game Pokémon Legends: Arceus for the Nintendo Switch and deals with the Pokémon of the 8th generation of games. A monster from this region that already exists in Pokémon GO is Hisui Voltobal.

These are the new Pokémon for the Hisui event

With the start of the Hisui event, three new Pokémon are making their debut in Pokémon GO: Hisui Fukano, Hisui Baldorfish, and Hisui Sniebel. You already know their forms from the Kanto and Johto regions, respectively, since they have been found in the game for a long time. Now her Hisui form will finally be available.

Hisui Fukano: Just like its Kanto version, Hisui Fukano is one of the Fire-type Pokémon in the game, but it can also be assigned to the Rock type. It can also evolve into Hisui Arcane. You can recognize the new regional form primarily by its long, fluffy white mane.

Hisui Baldorfish: Hisui Baldorfish is a Dark and Poison-type Pokémon. Unlike its Johto form, it can evolve into the Pokémon Myriador in the main game Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which dates back to the 8th generation of games.

However, this is only possible there by using the attack Toxic Spike Rain 20 times. Whether and how Niantic will implement the development of the dark and poison Pokémon is not yet known. You can identify Hisui Baldorfish by its charcoal and cream body and pink detailing on its spines.

Hisui Sniebel: And you already know Sniebel from the Johto region. Like Fukano and Baldorfish, it draws on a form from the Hisui region. Unlike his Johto form, this belongs to the Fighting and Poison types.

You can also evolve Hisui Sniebel into Snieboss. It is also not yet known whether and how this will be implemented in Pokémon GO. You can recognize Hisui Sniebel by its white body and purple decorations.
