Circus Electrique: Turn-based tactical RPG will be released in September

Lead a carnival of heroes in Circus Electrique to save Victorian steampunk London in turn-based tactical RPG.

Zen Studios and Saber Interactive have announced that Circus Electrique, a turn-based tactics RPG set in a steampunk version of Victorian London, will be available on September 6th, 2022 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch and PC will appear.

When a mysterious event known as “The Maddening” turns everyday Londoners into violent murderers, only the circus’ dazzling troupe of strongmen, fire-eaters, clowns and other amazing performers can save the day.

Named after Victorian London’s biggest show, Circus Electrique is part story-driven RPG, part tactics, part circus management – all with a steampunk twist.

Defend the city with your Carnival Crusaders’ unique talents: recruit new entertainers, strategically juggle their positioning and combat skills, and more while keeping the circus going with new shows.

Your unlikely heroes engage in tactical, turn-based combat against evil bobbies and British sailors, aggressive posh girls, the occasional menacing mime or robo-bear, and other wacky Victorian archetypes across six sprawling districts. The game’s sophisticated Devotion system affects your characters’ morale and performance in both combat and the circus performances you direct.
