The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is shifting a few months

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was originally scheduled for release on September 1st of this year for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. A version for Nintendo Switch should follow later. However, the developers at Daedelic are probably not quite satisfied with the current state of the game, which is why the release has now been pushed back “a few months” in order to give the game the final touches.

Daedelic postpones release of Lord of the Rings: Gollum

“Over the past few years, the team has worked hard to realize their vision of a stunning world filled with magic and wonder. Daedalic Entertainment strives to live up to the expectations of its community and present the untold story of Gollum in a way that… Reveal a way that honors JRR Tolkien’s vision.

Therefore, in order to deliver the best possible experience, Daedalic and NACON have decided to push back the release date of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum by a few months. An update will be released in the near future with the exact timing. Daedalic and NACON are grateful to their passionate community and look forward to sharing this unique adventure with them soon.”
