WoW: Blizzard confirms release date for WotLK Classic / XP buff is here!
Finally! The Blizzard developers have announced the release date for WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic! From September 27, 2022 we’re going to Northrend! There was also a statement about the XP buff that should cause more confusion than anything else.
There’s the thing! So the announcement that many Classic fans may have been waiting for. WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic will be released on September 27, 2022 at 00:01 CEST. The highlight features of the extension read as follows:
- The unforgiving, frozen north: Players will begin their journey in one of two Northrend zones (Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord) and will explore some of the most epic vistas and best-loved storylines in the history of Warcraft experience before they reach the Lich King’s seat of power in Icecrown.
- The Rise of the Death Knights: World of Warcrafts The first hero class, the death knights, are available to both factions and start at level 55. They harness the powers of darkness to aid in the fight against the evil that threatens Azeroth. Death Knights are limited to one per server per account and require a level 55 character to create one. However, this requirement is met for each player’s first death knight in Wrath Classic exposed.
- New Profession – Inscription: This new profession allows players to create mystical glyphs that change the properties (cooldowns, damage, etc.) of spells and abilities. They can also create powerful trinkets and off-hand items.
- Achievements unlocked: Achieve achievements WoW Classicgiving players access to a brand new set of rewards for their exploits and achievements.
- Dungeons and Raids: Players will relive groundbreaking 5-player dungeons like Azjol-Nerub and Cull Stratholme, and besiege Naxxramas in a 25- or 10-player raid, a new version of the original 40-player raid before it was expanded for World of Warcraft gave.
- Playable with existing World of Warcraft-Subscriptions: As with previous releases for WoW Classic is Wrath of the Lich King Classic with an active World of Warcraft-Subscription playable at no additional cost.
Buff Roaring Voyages is active!
Parallel to the announcement there was finally a statement to the XP buff that was already active in some regions. However, the official information is likely to confuse many players:
“Rushing Voyages buff with 50% bonus experience coming soon to Burning Crusade Classic
The path ahead is frigid and fraught with danger. To help you prepare for your adventures in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, players in Burning Crusade Classic will receive the Rushing Voyages buff, which increases experience gained* by 50%! This is the perfect opportunity to max out a character, create a new one, or invite friends to your adventures.”
Now, as for “soon”, if you log in on a character who hasn’t reached level 70 yet, you’ll already find Sweeping Voyages in your buff bar. Say: The buff is online. Have fun leveling! By the way: Players can activate or deactivate the experience bonus at any innkeeper in a capital city. But no journey lasts forever, so this one ends with the launch of Wrath of the Lich King Classic.
