Xbox Series X: Boot process almost four seconds faster

Xbox Series X/S consoles will reboot five seconds faster.

As we previously reported, the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will boot faster after cold booting. So far it was unclear how fast the whole thing will be, but it has now been officially announced that the boot animation has been shortened to around five seconds.

Currently the boot animation is ~9 seconds. After testing in the Insider program, the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S boot sequence drops to an impressive ~4 seconds, significantly reducing the overall boot time of the two consoles after a cold boot. In a video you can see that the whole boot process is 4:06 seconds faster than before:
