Pokémon GO: Spotlight Hour Today With Meditie And Evolution Bonus – Is It Worth It?

Pokémon GO Meditie Shiny

Today, July 26th, is the weekly Spotlight Hour in Pokémon GO. This week, the focus is on the Pokémon Meditie. We at MeinMMO show you when the event starts, what bonuses there are and whether it’s worth it for you at all.

What is this event? Spotlight Hour takes place weekly on Tuesday evenings in Pokémon GO. Within this hour, one Pokémon is in focus, which then appears more often than its peers.

This week’s focus is on a Psychic and Fighting-type Pokémon, Meditie. You’ll also get more experience evolving Pokémon. Two weeks ago, Machollo, a strong fighting Pokémon, was available in the limelight hour.

Spotlight Hour with Meditie – Start, Bonuses & Shiny

When does spotlight hour start? As usual, the limelight hour starts today at 6:00 p.m. German time. From this time, Meditie will appear more frequently for 60 minutes until the event and the increased spawns end again at 7:00 p.m.

What bonuses are there? In the lesson with Meditie you will receive a bonus to the experience that is available when evolving Pokémon. This means that you can collect double the amount of XP for all developments between 18:00 and 19:00. This applies to all Pokémon, not just Meditie itself.

Is there Meditie as Shiny? Yes, both Meditie itself and its evolution, Meditalis, are available in their dazzling versions in Pokémon GO and can be snagged during Spotlight Hour if you’re lucky. However, there is no bonus on dazzling monsters during the event.

Is the spotlight worth it with Meditie?

This is how strong Meditie is: You can’t necessarily do much with Meditie itself if you want to fight. With his development Meditalis, however, things are different. Especially in the super league in PvP, Meditalis can really score.

Apart from that, the Pokémon is not necessarily worth it if you only want to look for strong attackers. For both Fighting and Psychic types, other Pokémon clearly have the edge when it comes to Gym battles and raids.

Who is Limelight Hour for? If you’re missing a Super League Psychic Fighting-type Pokémon, today’s spotlight might be of interest to you. Even if you’re still missing a dazzling example of Meditie or its development, you should try your luck today.

The XP bonus on all developments also makes tonight’s event interesting for everyone who still lacks a little experience to the next level. If you are looking for a really strong Pokémon for raids and can do without the rest, you will probably get nothing tonight.

We will tell you which bosses you can meet in these raids in July in a separate article on the raid hours in July.
