The Last of Us: Neil Druckmann makes it clear – no crossover with Fortnite

A rumor has been circulating for the past few days about a collaboration between Fortnite and The Last of Us to celebrate the release of the upcoming remake of the first part. The rumor comes from the Xbox Era Podcast, in which host Nick Baker said he found out that Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us Part 1 would join the Fortnite crew.

No Fortnite appearance for Joel and Ellie

This would definitely not be too unlikely, after all, Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan from the Uncharted series only joined the Battle Royale this year. Unfortunately, however, players probably won’t be able to roam the map as Ellie, as did co-director Neil Druckmann explained on Twitterhe is a big fan of Fortnite, but a collaboration is currently not planned.

While Fortnite players may have to do without Joel and Ellie, at least one other famous character joins the Battle Royale this week in John Cena. We recently received a fairly extensive gameplay video for the upcoming remake of The Last of Us Part 1, which shows the differences to the original.
