WoW: Mage kills a group of hordlers in less than a second - with a toad

As a magician, the Youtuber Rextroy dismantles entire groups in World of Warcraft’s PvP mode. He does this with a Kyrian Legendary and the assistance of a Toad, which he uses to knock down his opponents in rows.

Rextroy is known for finding glitches and exploits in WoW. In the past, as a hunter, he managed to kill his opponents with one shot.

Now Rextroy no longer wants to compete with individual players, but with entire groups.

How does this work? First, the player uses the item “Harmonious Echo”, i.e. the Kyrian Legendary of the Mages. This expands the Kyrians’ pact ability to include area damage. He then fires at an enemy player, but the item causes 4 surrounding players to take 25% of the damage.

So that the damage now leads to kills, Rextroy uses a level 1 wild animal: the gently pressed toad. It takes increased damage from level 60 players, including Rextroy. The damage then spreads to the surrounding players, making the 25% extremely high and the whole group falling over. “I did 3.2 million damage,” he says, laughing in the video.

How exactly does the kill work? Rextroy turns invisible and puts the toad on the ground. A priest from his horde mind controls them and casts Ray of Hope, making them immortal for 6 seconds.

That’s when the Youtuber uses Time Warp and quickly casts Radiant Spark on the animal. He also lets “Arcane Missiles” fly behind. The first hit places a debuff on the opponents, each further hit kills 4 surrounding players.

The Youtuber is not only known for finding exploits, he has also defeated raid bosses alone.

Aren’t exploits forbidden? Basically yes. Above all, Blizzard does not like the spreading of exploits. In the case of Rextroy, however, the latter is in contact with the developers and sends them a report on the respective bug or exploit. His videos usually only appear when the error in the game has been fixed and can no longer be reproduced. Therefore, most of Rextroy’s “Oneshot” combos can no longer be imitated.

What do you think of the exploit that Rextroy found? Have you ever found yourself lying on the ground so confused like the poor players in the video? Do you sometimes use the toad yourself to deal area damage with it? Write it to us in the comments here on MeinMMO!
