Diablo Immortal: Bug costs players “millions” of experience points

Diablo Immortal is plagued by a bug that is preventing players from receiving XP rewards.

Earlier this month, there were multiple reports that the game was not giving out XP bonuses as you progress through the Battle Pass.

Ultimately, there is no experience

“I’ve completed bounties and a Battle Pass rank”, writes a user on Reddit. “The XP animation played but the XP bar didn’t increase.”

“I lost more XP this week…3 million last week and 2 million this week”, added another.

A few days ago it was said Reddit from Blizzard that a hotfix has been released to fix this bug.

“The team is in the process of calculating each individual’s lost experience points for the time periods affected by this bug,” it said. “We have this data. The XP will be delivered as soon as we go through the data.”

“I apologize for the inconvenience as I know that the XP issue in particular was a little troubling. Hotfixes for these issues should be available now.”

However, under the said post, other Reddit users report that some of them have not received any experience points. It seems that this problem has not yet been completely eliminated.
