German YouTuber on FIFA 22 wants to celebrate like Ronaldo, almost loses an eye: “I can’t figure it out”

27-year-old Erne Embeli is one of the biggest German YouTubers for FIFA 22 and has many fans. But he now frightened these fans with pictures from the hospital: he had injured his left eye badly and of all things when he wanted to cheer like Ronaldo.

Who is Erne Embeli?

• Together with a partner, Erne Embeli runs the “FeelFIFA” channel with 1.18 million subscribers on YouTube: it focuses on the different players in FIFA FUT, their stats and how to get them: The games in the FIFA series are huge Topic in football-mad Germany.
• Embeli also has a large channel on Instagram with almost 400,000 followers, where he reports on his life as an influencer.

What went wrong with the YouTuber? Embeli was out with friends and eventually started celebrating Ronaldo.

But he slipped and landed his head on the ground so unhappily that his left eye swelled up and he couldn’t open it.

Shortly thereafter he said:

I’ve never been in pain like this, it’s really crazy. Just for the cheers, I still can’t figure it out. Actually, Christiano Ronaldo should come visit me for that.

But the YouTuber still thought that it was just a swelling that would go down over time.

This worried the fans: The hope that it would go away by itself was not fulfilled at all. Instead, the eye became inflamed, the YouTuber got a fever of 39 degrees, tachycardia and the eye got bigger and bigger.

So he had to go to the hospital and got really scared there on Monday July 25th:

If I’m unlucky, I’ll lose sight in my left eye and be blind because the inflammation is too severe. I can’t believe how something like this can happen. I pray to God.

Then everything turned for the better:

This is how it went: However, this worst-case scenario did not materialize. On Tuesday, the YouTuber gave the all-clear: everything is on the mend. The wound is still well inflamed, but is cleaned every day.

On Instagram there’s the message: “Don’t worry. I’ll be out soon.”

The YouTuber’s example shows that you can easily injure yourself, especially when you’re in high spirits, if you’re just unlucky and stupidly slip.
