Hogwarts Legacy: Release date probably finally known!
At the Sony State of Play in March this year, we got a first look at the gameplay of the upcoming title Hogwarts Legacy. The developers also gave a release period of “Holiday 2022”. It looks like we’ve now been given a more specific date.
When is Hogwarts Legacy coming out?
As kitguru reportsthe Hogwarts Legacy release date on PSN has been pushed to the 6th of December placed. Furthermore, how VGC discovered, there was also a December release date for a on Amazon Art book for the game. Artbooks for larger titles are usually released at the same time as the game itself, so a December release seems likely.
God of War: Ragnarok is scheduled for release in November this year. With Hogwarts Legacy arguably working closely with PlayStation, including through the State of Play gameplay trailer, a December release is only more likely to avoid competing with Sony’s own flagship title.
We recently learned from a new leak what’s in the Collector’s Edition of Hogwarts Legacy. We also already know which features of the new PlayStation 5 and the controller the new action role-playing game uses. Some information about the technology of the game was also revealed. Hogwarts Legacy is slated for release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A version for the Nintendo Switch is also in the works.
