Razer announces the DeathStalker V2 in three variants

Razer has announced the DeathStalker V2 and is releasing three variants of the keyboard.

Once there is a normal DeathStalker V2, also a DeathStalker V2 Pro and a DeathStalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless.

What the keyboards have to offer

The new low-profile optical switches are used here, which use an infrared light beam to register the key inputs.

“As a result, there is no debounce delay when pressing a key, resulting in a more responsive keyboard for gaming and a direct typing feel for work,” it says.

The switches are available in two versions: linear and clicky. The linear switch has an actuation point of 1.2 mm with a total travel of 2.8 mm and an actuation force of 45 grams. The clicky variant has 1.5 mm, 2.8 mm and 50 grams.

On top of that, there are laser-engraved keycaps with “ultra-durable coating” that’s said to resist fading and scratching.

The Deathstalker V2.

The V2 Pro.

And the V2 Pro TKL.

The Pro and Pro TKL also use Razer HyperSpeed, Razer’s wireless technology for keyboards. With multi-device pairing, you can connect a keyboard and a Razer mouse to just one wireless dongle.

Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, you can connect the Pro and the Pro TKL to up to three devices at the same time without having to re-pair them each time. The device can be changed at the touch of a button.

According to Razer, the Pro runs for 40 hours and the Pro TKL for 50 hours.

Basically, the normal V2 offers the same functions and speeds as the Pro, only the wireless connection is omitted. The Pro TKL retains the media button and dial.

And what does the fun cost? The normal DeathStalker V2 costs 199.99 euros, the V2 Pro 249.99 euros and the V2 Pro TKL 219.99 euros.

The V2 Pro is available now, the other two variants will follow in the third quarter of 2022.
