Chenso Club: Roguelike brawler with strong heroines coming in September

With Chenso Club, a roguelike brawler with strong heroines will be released in September.

Publisher Curve Games and Swedish studio Pixadome have announced that their side-scrolling roguelike brawler Chenso Club will be available on September 1st, 2022 on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms for €14.99.

Chenso Club is an action-packed arcade-style game starring a female cast of cute, colorful and deadly girls-turned-fighters. Fans can play either alone or in couch co-op with friends, choosing one of five playable protagonists, each with individual skills, moves, and combos to fit their personal playstyle.

In a nod to arcade side-scrolling fighting games, players will slash, jump, slash and smash through hordes of enemy aliens to level up and save the world.

Conny Nordlund, Director at Pixadome, said: “Chenso Club is a love letter to the arcade side-scrolling brawler. We loved the idea of making a heroine game with anime girls and were inspired by 90’s cartoons like the Powerpuff Girls. I love how violent this series is, but at the same time it’s still sweet and charming, and that’s exactly the vibe we wanted to achieve with Chenso Club. We can’t wait for people to jump in and play it!”
