Pokémon GO launches Raid Tag with Hisui-Washakwil this weekend – how to use it properly

A special raid day is running in Pokémon GO this weekend: Hisui-Washakwil is making its debut and you can catch it for the first time. There are also special bonuses – you can find an overview of everything here.

When is Raid Day? Raid Day will take place on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time. During this time you should raid as much as you can.

The raid tag wasn’t originally part of the current Hisui event. However, it was added to the Event Calendar in Pokémon GO due to the Hyper Bonus being unlocked.

What is special about the event? There is a debut: The Hisui version of Washakwil will be available for the first time in Pokémon GO.

Hisui-Washakwil and All Bonuses – Is Raid Day Worth It?

What is this Pokemon? The normal Washakwil has been in the game longer than the development of Geronimatz. Now the “Hisui” version comes into play. Fans may already know them from “Pokémon Legends: Arceus”. There, Hisui Washakwil is also one of the companion Pokémon that you can use to fly from A to B.

You can take advantage of these bonuses on Raid Day

The main bonus: To keep you raiding properly, spinning the Arena Photo Discs will give you five free Raid Passes during the event and up to two hours after.

It can be assumed that you will only get the next raid pass when the last one is used up – as you are used to from the daily pass. Accordingly, after you have completed a raid, you should always spin an arena disc again to get the next pass.

If you keep the free pass from the previous day (Saturday), you can theoretically complete six free raids. It can be worth it, because there are a few extra bonuses during the raid day.
