New consoles in store – location on 07/31.

MediaMarkt and Saturn are really busy selling the PS5. The filled warehouses provide supplies for hours. The console is also available in stores.

Updates from 07/29/2022, 09:30 am: This week there were heaps of supplies at MediaMarkt and Saturn. First the pre-order campaign in the branches, then the drop in both online shops. A sale on eBay followed on Thursday. Now there are replenishments directly in the branches. Everywhere in Germany you can currently march into a MediaMarkt or Saturn and take the PS5 with you without any stress.

Among other things, there are reports from MediaMarkt Aachen, Saturn Neckarsulm and Saturn Berlin-Alexanderplatz that there are tons of consoles right on the shelves. Other branches are also affected. So it’s worth it if you pay a visit to your local Saturn store and if you’re lucky you can find a console in the market.

There will also be a few pre-order campaigns. There you can pre-order a bundle of console and games and pick them up in a few days. This promotion is also only valid locally in some branches.

Hamburg – For months, MediaMarkt and Saturn were the top dogs in Germany when it came to Sony’s PS5. There were drops here every month and thousands of consoles went over the digital shop counter. Since mid-May, things have calmed down, at least in the online shop. A tiny drop in July didn’t improve the situation. When can we finally expect PS5 supplies from MediaMarkt and Saturn?

When was the last time there was a refill? The last sale at MediaMarkt and Saturn took place on July 21st. But very few consoles were sold there and the drop was pretty chaotic. The last major sale took place on May 18th. MediaMarkt and Saturn are currently running a pre-order campaign directly in the branches. What about new supplies at MediaMarkt and Saturn? The situation at MediaMarkt and Saturn is currently difficult to assess. Actually, the two dealers were the biggest contact points for the PS5 for months. Console sales have been drastically reduced since mid-May. There were some pre-order campaigns in the individual branches, but there was no big drop in the online shop.

Normally, MediaMarkt and Saturn have the potential to sell large volumes online every month. In the end, however, nothing came of it. But you shouldn’t write off the two dealers. They remain one of the hottest spots for the PS5 in Germany on a daily basis.
