The hardest boss in Elden Ring should be even harder!

Elden Ring is considered one of the toughest games in recent years for a reason. To this day, some players despair of the main bosses in particular. Now, however, modders have discovered that one of the game’s hardest and most notorious bosses is supposed to be even harder.

Which boss is it?

We’re talking about Malenia, which can be found in Elden Ring (buy now €53.56 /€50.99 ) can only be found relatively late in Elphael. Malenia, also known as Miquella’s Blade, is one of the most skilled warriors in the Between Lands and, like many of the other fragment bearers, is also afflicted with the Scarlet Blight. And it is this Malenia that really packs a punch in the actual game. If you weren’t born with a golden controller hand, you’ll probably need a few dozen tries for the lady with the iconic blade and the golden helmet. But said modders have now managed to make the nasty woman even nastier.

How did the modders do it?

As you can see on Kotn3l’s Youtube channel, version 1.0 of the game is required for this. A version that was used internally by developers before the network test in October 2021 and any current patches.

In this version, Malenia’s moveset changes so much that the boss is even more aggressive and therefore heavier.
