Battlefield 2042: Update 1.2 is here and that has changed

Update 1.2 for DICE’s multiplayer shooter Battlefield 2042 is here and brings with it a number of changes.

These include adjustments to balancing and comfort improvements that should make weapons and vehicles fairer.

What does Update 1.2 have to offer?

Apart from these bug fixes, improvements and balancing changes, the Kaleidoscope map has been revised. New cover options, flag positions, terrain heights and visual updates should benefit the gameplay flow here.

There are also changes to the style and tone of the specialists in the game, including updated character models.

To help you keep track of your performance, an in-game player profile and stats page is now available. This will give you a summary of your progress since the release of Battlefield 2042.

When using controllers, DICE adjusted aim assist to make tracking moving targets “smoother and more consistent”.

The RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal’s 30mm guns have also had their performance reduced with faster overheating, the BSV-M’s full-auto mode has a precision trigger, and high-powered ammo depletes faster at range Damage.

According to DICE, it should be the last planned update before Season 2. You should get more information about this later in August.
