Netflix has a new trailer for the upcoming anime series Cyberpunk – Edgerunners released. Even if in the trailer some interfaces from the game Cyberpunk 2077 (in review), the series adaptation produced by CD Projekt RED tells an independent story about street kid David, who becomes an edge runner (mercenary) in Night City.
In the approximately three-minute trailer, short scenes give you a first impression of David and other, sometimes quite eccentric characters who cross his path. There doesn’t seem to be a lack of exuberantly staged action, which is not surprising given the animation studio Trigger.
Cyberpunk – Edgerunners will consist of 10 episodes and will be released on Netflix in September 2022.
