Computer accessories maker Logitech has announced a partnership with the gaming division of Chinese tech titan Tencent. The aim of the partnership is to bring its own handheld to the market, more precisely a “cloud gaming handheld”. The portable game hardware seems to be primarily geared towards game streaming and should be compatible with existing services, so you work with the Xbox Cloud and Geforce Now teams.
The hardware knowledge of the games label Logitech G should meet the software experience of Tencent Games. The announcement includes glowing words about cloud technology and the partnership, but no design images or specifications yet. The cloud handheld should come onto the market later this year.
