The Last of Us: Is the release of the series in danger?

In the meantime, the production of HBO adaptation from The Last of Us to be finished. Of the Cast of the main actors is known and there is already an approximate release framework.

Wild times at Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO Max

There are various reasons for this assumption strange occurrences within the last week: First, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that the already finished production Batgirl moviewho at least already $90 million devoured, will not be released in cinemas or on the streaming service HBO Max.

Added to that was the HBO Max exclusive sequel to Scoob! was also deleted.

Next report insidersthat one Restructuring of HBO Max and Discovery+ is expected. That would lead to the gutting of HBO Max and as a result significant layoffs drag along.

An approximate release date for the series was recently announced: Around spring to summer 2023 we could expect the film adaptation of the popular video game.

While HBO Max production Batgirl was also surprisingly dropped, there is a slight difference between the film and the expected series.

The Last of Us is produced by HBO. This means that the series on both the TV stations, as well as on HBO Max will be broadcast.
