Voyage: Exploration of Unknown Planets begins next week

In the co-op adventure Voyage, two survivors embark on a journey of discovery on an unknown planet.

Indie publisher Ratalaika Games is pleased to partner with Venturous to announce the upcoming release of Voyage, a relaxing and beautiful cinematic journey of discovery.

This imaginative, tongue-in-cheek cooperative adventure game will be available on August 12th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, priced at €14.99.

A long forgotten past

A side-scrolling casual adventure, Voyage offers much more with its aesthetics and ever-changing locations: It follows two survivors who find themselves on an uncharted planet. Your journey, whether you’re playing solo or in a team, is filled with many obstacles that slow and hamper your progress.

During the journey you will uncover a mystery from the past, and there are three stories told simultaneously in Voyage – “Gameplay” (the actual journey) – “Statue Scenes” (the big sisters’ personal memories) and finally – “Murals” (that tell the story of the planet and the people who lived there).

When playing Voyage in single player mode, one of the two in-game protagonists acts as an AI companion, as if you were playing the game with a friend. You can choose which of the two characters you are currently controlling, interact with objects and climb together, tell each other to follow or stay put, point at each other and even hug each other.

Many of the objectives throughout Voyage’s journey require the cooperation of two characters, e.g. B. pushing columns, moving objects and helping each other to climb. In addition, exploring the game together also plays a part in the narrative itself.

Whether you choose to play solo or cooperatively, the journey revolves around two survivors in search of answers who work together to solve a mystery and find a way home.
