Play Far Cry 6 for free now – On Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Stadia

In the coming days, Ubisoft will let you play its shooter Far Cry 6 for free.

It’s available now through August 7 on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PS4, Google Stadia, and PC.

You’ll get access to the full game as well as all the free downloadable content.

If you like what you’re playing this weekend, you can currently get Far Cry 6 cheaper on various platforms:

• PC (Ubisoft Store): Get 60 percent off Standard, Gold, and Ultimate editions of the game through August 15. Season Pass and the three DLCs are also reduced by 50 percent.
• PC (Epic Games Store): Until August 8th there is a 60 percent discount on all editions as well as a 50 percent discount on Season Pass and DLCs.
• Xbox: 60 percent off Standard and Gold Edition and 50 percent off Season Pass through August 15.
• PlayStation: 55 percent off the Deluxe Edition and 60 percent off the Ultimate Edition through August 17th.

Similar to the free weekend, another photo mode competition will run until August 13, 2022 at 5:59 a.m. Post a picture, video or GIF from the game with the hashtag #FarCry6FreeWeekendContest on Twitter, Instagram or TikTok.
