The section in which Ashley has to solve puzzles in the castle without Leon’s help is also said to be significantly longer.

Modified boss fight against Del Lago: The spectacular boss fight on the lake against the monster from the depths should be staged completely differently this time. The famous Easter Egg at the lake should be available in a similar form to the original. In the remake, the fight is more reminiscent of the boss fight with Moreau from Resident Evil Village.

Salazar and the Verdugo: Salazar will also appear again, his appearance is said not to have changed much. However, he is now protected in the castle by a Verdugo, who is supposed to follow you through the castle like Mr. X in Resident Evil 2.
