Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28th, and there is even early access for the beta phase, with which we can get our hands on the eagerly awaited shooter even earlier. We will, of course, summarize below which dates will be important for you in the coming weeks.

What we are allowed to test at all is not yet certain. Activision let that shine through though, that we can expect more action than the usual six-on-six mode. For example, there are various maps and different game modes that we should look at. The developer himself provides a foretaste of the cards in advance, but more on that later.

When will CoD MW 2’s multiplayer be revealed

The official unveiling of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer mode is also not far away. Shortly before the beta starts in full swing, the developers get us really hot again. On September 15th, they proudly show us where they want to go in the future of the title.

In addition to the unveiling of what is probably the most popular mode in the shooter series, information about the beta phase is also revealed. The developers also want to reveal what we can expect in the future with Call of Duty: Warzone, the Battle Royale offshoot of the series, and its mobile clone.

How to join the beta

If you are already excited about what the new CoD MW 2 has to offer before the official reveal, you are certainly interested in how you can participate in the beta phase of the title. With Early Access, you can even dive into the game a few days before the other participants in the beta test. If you want to do just that, all you have to do is pre-order the game.

If you’re not interested in early access, simply sign up for the trial period via the Call of Duty official website. At least one Steam or Battle.net account is required, which you can use to register.

New Map Introduced: This is the Marina Bay Grand Prix

With the torrent of information that the developers have been flooding us with in the past few days, a particularly interesting announcement may be lost: the first multiplayer map for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has already been revealed. It’s the Marina Bay Grand Prix six-on-six map, designed in the style of a Formula 1 racetrack. She is introduced with a trailer of her own by Infinity Ward on Twitter:

Well-known Call of Duty professionals like FazeZooMaa and Co. were able to put the Marina Bay Grand Prix through its paces in advance. Finally, in September, it’s our turn to get an honest look at Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Several weeks ago, the well-known leaker RalphValve surprised us with the information that the new Call of Duty part could have a map editor.
