New Medieval MMORPG coming to Steam later this month – Shows the first 15 minutes of gameplay

The MMORPG Past Fate takes place in the Middle Ages and gives you a lot of freedom. Early Access is scheduled to appear on Steam in August. Now the developers show the first 15 minutes of the game.

In the video you see a character in ragged clothes with a shield on his back and a sword in his hand. He roams through a grassy landscape with trees and a few medieval houses.

It shows the first quests, for which the character often runs to the workbench to craft items. In between you see him chopping wood or killing monsters that are scattered around the world and attack him directly.

It is also interesting that the video does not show a map: neither a mini-map nor a large map. Only a compass at the top of the screen is used for orientation, which shows the direction in which the quest goal is located.

You can do whatever you want in Past Fate

What is this game anyway? Past Fate is an MMORPG set in a medieval fantasy setting. You create your character and start exploring the open world.

In PvE, the MMORPG offers you dungeons and raids that you complete together with other players. Whoever plays on a PvP server can participate in battles. You then have to defend your ship in a naval battle, for example, or be careful not to take your fortress.

In May 2022, Past Fate showed first gameplay from the alpha. For a minute you could see excerpts from the gameplay. The first life skills could be seen as well as some fight scenes against larger monsters than is the case in the new gameplay video.

What content is there?

• 5 different classes: Warrior, Necromancer, Mage, Pirate, Priest
• You can sail and explore new islands like in Lost Ark
• A story in which you find out secrets and solve puzzles
• Your own kingdom is the housing, so to speak
• Day and night mode with different conditions. For example, Dark Mages have an advantage at night
• Life Skills, such as fishing, mining, logging and cooking
• Lots of crafting
• From level 10 a new dungeon is added every 5 levels
• In the endgame you can expect raids for 25 players. Some of the raids are said to be very difficult and are supposedly only feasible for well-established guilds

The MMORPG doesn’t force you into anything, so you can choose the content according to your personal preferences. The gaming experience is therefore different from player to player.

When is Past Fate coming out? From August 15, 2022 you can purchase and play the open alpha of the MMORPG on Steam. The developers point out that there will probably be many bugs initially.

The soon-to-be-released version on Steam is the Early Access first. Past Fate will be Buy2Play, we don’t know the exact price yet.
