Pokémon GO: Bug crawling is live – new event with a strong hyper bonus
player from Pokemon Go are taking part in a new event from today: The bug crawling is live. You have until August 16, 20:00 GMT to grab the benefits and rewards of the new in-game event. Highlights include the Pokémon debuts of Mabula, Akkup and Donarion. For 25 Mabula Candy you can evolve Mabula into Akkup. Plus, if you’re near an active Magnetic Lure Module, you can accumulate Donarion for 100 Mabula Candy. Also check out the mega raids, because that’s where Mega Scizor appears for the first time – with luck even in the shiny version.
Hyperbonus for bug crawling
If you catch Bug Crawling Pokémon with a good, great, or fabulous throw, you’ll get double the usual experience points. “Thanks to your commitment and fishing skills Beetle Crawling event has undergone a metamorphosis – now the hyper bonus awaits you: beetle crawling, with even more rewards and bonuses,” they write Developer in blog post. So there are additional candies if you catch the monsters with a good, great or fabulous throw. Also, Trainers level 31 and above have an increased chance of receiving XL Candy when catching a Pokemon with a Good, Great, or Fabulous throw.
