The next game from the creators of Subnautica will be a sci-fi adventure

Following on from the hit survival game Subnautica and its sequel Below Zero, the studio is once again looking to stay above the water and is turning to a sci-fi turn-based adventure.

A whole new world

Unknown Worlds and Krafton, the studio behind PUBG, have already announced that they will be showing something about this all-new IP at Gamescom. We’ll find out more on August 23 at 8pm PT on Opening Night Live, hosted this year by Geoff Keighley.

“Charlie Cleveland, co-founder and game director of Unknown Worlds, will officially introduce a new IP set in a sci-fi world and featuring imaginative turn-based gameplay,” reads the official press release.

The development studio was bought by Krafton, but is still allowed to develop its games independently. You can try out the preliminary result of this new partnership at Gamescom. Let’s see which unknown worlds open up on the sci-fi scene.
