Update from 08/10/2022, 06:45 a.m.: Good morning PS5 hunters. Today is Wednesday again and Wednesday is well known as THE Amazon Day. And even if no fresh Prime notice has been spotted today: since the shipping giant has regularly dropped on Wednesdays in recent weeks – sometimes without the said notice or with the late appearance of this “pre-warning” – things are getting exciting again today Amazon.

Amazon DE does not necessarily have to drop in order to be successful with the online giant. With Amazon IT, FR, ES, you can usually order from Germany without any problems and also have it delivered here without further ado – but a Prime account in the respective country is mandatory. In short: Pay attention to the traditional Amazon time (between 9:00 and 11:30 a.m.) on Amazon today. It might be worth it again.

In the current general replenishment situation, numerous retailers could currently sell the PS5 again without warning. Pay a little more attention to GameStop and Müller. But there could also be something happening in August for the replenishment giants MediaMarkt and Saturn, OTTO and PlayStation Direct, maybe even this week. So keep your eyes peeled, PS5 hunters.

Alternate and play grotto have spontaneously offered the PS5 several times in the past, including on weekends. So keep an eye on these two traders to be on the safe side. And at MMS, as I said yesterday, you could dust off the PS5 as a bundle on site in some markets. It is quite possible that some branches (especially in more rural areas) will still have the console in stock this Saturday. Just ask on site.

Which retailers are still hot right now? Apart from the options mentioned above, things should traditionally remain rather quiet at the weekend when it comes to fresh PS5 supplies. For the coming new week, however, the following applies: We are still relatively at the beginning of a new month. In general, pretty much all relevant dealers who have not yet dropped at the beginning of August are exciting. GameStop and Müller, for example, have good drop chances, but Amazon, PlayStation Direct or MediaMarkt and Saturn could definitely do something again.

In short: There are still enough potential drop candidates in August. So stay alert, PS5 hunters!
