Tower of Fantasy starts tomorrow – all information about the new anime MMORPG

The anime MMORPG Tower of Fantasy is strongly reminiscent of Genshin Impact. Tomorrow, August 11, 2022, it celebrates its release. But you can download it beforehand and get rewards. We at MeinMMO summarize all the information for you.

When is Tower of Fantasy going online? The western release will be simultaneous. In America, Tower of Fantasy goes online as early as the evening of August 10th. Here in Europe you can start the MMORPG on August 11th from 2:00 a.m. Multiple servers should be available in each region.

According to Tower of Fantasy’s website, over 4 million players have already pre-registered, so the game is highly anticipated. When the time comes, you can play the MMORPG via PC, Android and iOS.

You can download Tower of Fantasy right now to start it in time for the release. The download takes place via the Website of the MMORPG. It takes up around 25GB of space on PC, 15GB on mobile.

Unfortunately, you can’t play on Steam and Epic Games at the beginning, but only via your own client. A release for the other platforms is definitely planned for this year.

Unlike Genshin Impact, Tower of Fantasy is a proper MMORPG

What kind of game is this? Tower of Fantasy is a free MMORPG with nice anime graphics. It is developed by Hotta Studio, published by Level Infinite. It is based on an open game world that you can explore with your character. Visually, it is very reminiscent of Genshin Impact, but offers a completely different multiplayer.

While Genshin Impact lets you visit and play in other players’ worlds, Tower of Fantasy is a proper MMORPG where all players roam in the same world. MeinMMO editor Alexander Leitsch has played Tower of Fantasy and thinks it’s the MMORPG that Genshin Impact should have been.

Tower of Fantasy offers this content:

• You follow a story on the planet Ada, which humans colonized in the future.
• An open world where you can swim, climb and fly.
• There are no fixed classes. Instead, you determine the style of play with your equipment.
• An action-packed combat system. You have to aim and dodge yourself.
• A gacha system for endgame weapons
• Dungeons, Raids and PvP content

In order to move around in the huge world, you should be able to use different mounts. For example, it’s cool that you can ride a motorcycle in Tower of Fantasy.

Pre-registration was worth it

For Android and iOS, you can pre-register to receive rewards. All you have to do is create a profile with your email address.

There is then an exclusive avatar per platform:

• Zeke on PC
• Shirli for Android
• Nemesis for iOS

There is a counter on the website that shows the exact number of pre-registrations. Currently there are almost 4,100,000 players and only via the mobile version. For example, there is no information on Steam wish lists. Then the number would be significantly higher.

Every 500,000 registrations, the developers have set new rewards. These sometimes include gold, outfits, and various crystals. The main goal was 3 million registrations. Those who have pre-registered will be showered with rewards.
