There is a new update for Windows 10. Patch KB5016616 is available via settings or is already being downloaded and installed in the background. The patch brings the Windows 10 variants 20H2 Server, 21H1 and 21H2 to the build numbers 19042.1889, 19043.1889 and 19044.1889. We summarize what features, changes, and bug fixes are included.
As one of the few items for patch KB5016616 for Windows 10, Microsoft first lists a bug fix for printing processes. Duplications in the queue could occur when transferring files. An existing printer problem where duplicates appear in the device settings is still listed as a known error.
Then Microsoft names a problem that has been appearing since June and can affect devices with settings for multiple regions. A corresponding change of language via the information area was not possible. A fix has been rolled out automatically since the beginning of August if you had obtained the latest optional patch.
