WoW WotLK Classic: Build with TCG mounts – is an in-game shop coming?!
Dataminers have discovered innovations in the current build for WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic that cause astonishment. The new version of WotLK Classic includes some spell adjustments that revolve around the word “enslave”, pieces of equipment that could belong to the character boost, and various items from WoW’s “Trading Card Games”.
The launch of WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic is approaching, from September 27th, 2022 we will go to Nordend, more precisely: from 0:01 a.m. CEST. While many players are looking forward to the fight against the Lich King, the WotLK Classic Beta and PTR are running with the pre-launch phase already allowing us to get a taste of the upcoming content. And just that beta server was recently blessed with a new build in which dataminers discovered some strange innovations (via WoWHead).
About TCG mounts and the fight against enslavement
Find number 1 in the new build: The Blizzard developers are apparently continuing to work on turning the fantasy world of Azeroth into a “politically correct” place – Key word: sexy purge. At least there were adjustments for the tooltip of the spell Demon Slave and the corresponding glyph, but also for other warlock skills. It is no longer enslaved, but subjugated.
Find number 2: The dataminers have found new pieces of equipment which, by their name, are likely to be used on characters who have been boosted to level 70 for WotLK Classic. Blizzard had already announced in advance that after TBC Classic, there would also be a paid character boost for the Northrend adventure.
And then the dataminers have also discovered a whole range of abilities that can be used with items from the World of Warcraft “Trading Card Game”. (buy now ) keep in touch. For example:
- NEW Great War Bear Summons and dismisses a rideable Big Battle Bear. This is a very fast mount.
Increases speed by 100%. - NEW Flaming Hippogryph Summons and dismisses a rideable Blazing Hippogryph. This mount changes depending on your Riding skill.
- NEW X-51 Nether Missile X-TREM An X-TREME riding rocket! This is a very fast mount. This mount can only be summoned in Outland or Northrend. Increases flight speed by 280%.
- NEW White woolly rhinoceros Summons and dismisses a rideable Wooly White Rhino. This is a very fast mount. Increases speed by 100%.
- NEW paper kite Right click to summon and dismiss your kite.
- NEW spectral tiger cub Right click to summon and dismiss your spectral tiger cub.
- NEW Astral Soul Trader Right Click to summon and dismiss an Ethereal Soul-Trader.
The question now, of course, is how do we get access to these special items. Some players are betting on a special deluxe edition for WotLK Classic, similar to what was available for Burning Crusade Classic. Other WoW fans are now so cynical that they are counting on an in-game shop for the classic version. What is your guess?
