It will soon be three years since the last generation came out, but Game Freak and Nintendo are going to great lengths to provide fans with a new world and new monsters. The new Pokémon Crimson and Crimson editions for Nintendo Switch will be released later this year, and fans can already pre-order the games. Pre-order Pokémon Crimson and Crimson – You can buy these editions
When will Pokemon Crimson and Crimson be released? The big announcement of the new generation didn’t come until February 2022, but fans can already jump into the first Pokémon game with a completely coherent open world this year. In July, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company released a second trailer for Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, which finally revealed the release date. Deadline is the November 18, 2022.
What editions are there of the new Pokemon? As usual for the series, the new generation of Pokémon will be available in two different editions: Crimson and Crimson. But that’s practically all you have to choose from when pre-ordering. You can pre-order Pokémon Crimson and Crimson digitally or physically, but you can’t get additional Deluxe or Collector’s Editions here. However, there will be a double pack that combines crimson and crimson and puts a steel book on top.

Pre-order Pokémon Crimson and Crimson – These retailers are selling the new generation
Where can I pre-order Pokémon Crimson and Crimson? You can already get Pokémon Crimson and Crimson from many major electronics and games retailers. In terms of price, these do not differ from each other, so it is only a matter of personal preference or availability. However, you can only pre-order the digital versions of the games on Nintendo eShop, so for the double pack you’ll need to go to one of the other retailers and purchase the physical version.
According to the official Pokémon website, the double pack should only follow at a later date, but is already available for pre-order from some providers. MediaMarkt, Saturn and GameStop already offer the double pack edition of Pokémon Crimson and Purple, Amazon has also already listed the version, but you can’t pre-order it there yet. As soon as Amazon unlocks the double pack edition, we will update this article accordingly.
Pre-order Pokémon Crimson and Crimson – Get this bonus when you purchase before release
Are there pre-order bonuses? While you can’t expect additional features or jam-packed Collector’s Editions when pre-ordering Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, Nintendo is throwing in an extra for the pre-order. As a pre-order bonus, you’ll get a “special Pikachu” that can’t be found anywhere else in the game. The special? This is a Tera-Crystallized Pikachu, naturally capable of the Fly attack, and Tera-type Flight.
The Pikachu looks suitably fancy, with a chic, jewel-like sheen and hanging from a couple of crystal balloons. So Pikachu is already one of the 51 confirmed Crimson and Crimson Pokémon, although the total number of monsters to be found in the final game is likely to be much larger. *affiliate link
