PlayStation Plus: Extra & Premium in August: Three Yakuza titles and more

The new additions to the PlayStation Plus catalog for the Extra and Premium subscribers are confirmed. Among them: 3 exciting Yakuza titles, action horror Dead by Daylight and 10 other games.

The Yakuza parts, which have long been planned for the three different subscription models of PlayStation Plus, are to be precise the two remakes Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2 as well as the prequel, which is simply called Yakuza 0. The latter reveals once again how the story-rich web of Kiwami parts was spun in the first place.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium: What highlights await us in August?

In addition to the three Yakuza titles that we get as part of the somewhat more expensive Extra and Premium versions of PlayStation Plus, there are of course other highlights worth mentioning. For example, the popular multiplayer horror shooter Dead by Daylight from 2016. The aspect that is particularly exciting is that one of the players slips into the role of the killer, while the others try to throw him off and fight for their sheer survival.

If that’s too exciting for you, you can in the much more relaxed indie adventure Bugsnax let your soul dangle much sooner. However, the cute look of the game can quickly deceive, after all we are still exploring a mysterious island in the adventure game that is just teeming with secrets. We slip into the role of a particularly curious journalist and go in search of the rare Bugsnax…

For all those for whom the island of Bugsnax is not enough, Sony thinks a whole lot bigger: Ubisoft’s open world shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is also included in the lineup of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscriptions.
