PC Games 09/22 with a great cover story about Saints Row

A lot has been said and written about the Saints Row reboot in recent months, especially the character design didn’t come off too well in the first previews. Now – a few days before the release of the game – we were able to get an extensive picture of a playable version. And the good news right away: The figure design is totally okay! What else awaits you in terms of gameplay and what we have been able to get from the story and the setting so far, you can read in this month’s cover story. However, we have initial information about FIFA 23, since we were able to visit the makers in the USA recently – accordingly, we have hot information about licenses, gameplay and career mode.

In the test part we have a real surprise hit: Stray. The cat adventure may not be all that unusual in terms of gameplay, but it scores with some great ideas, an exciting setting and above all: an absolutely fantastically implemented cat as the main character. Speaking of fantastic: Two Point Campus, the sequel to Hospital, once again delivers a great economic simulation in the tradition of Theme Hospital. We’ll tell you in the test what we’ve experienced at the crazy universities and why genre fans should definitely grab it here.

Aside from these topics, you can expect previews of Skull and Bones, after Ubisoft’s pirate adventures have been quiet for a long time, or the idiosyncratic Soulslike Steelrising, as well as tests of the indie gem Endling: Extinction is forever or Square’s simulation surprise Power Wash Simulator. There are also specials in the magazine and extended sections, such as a new part of the iconic series about Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki, a retro excursion into the first Max Payne, or a look back at the Medal of Honor series, which is currently somewhat submerged.
