THQ Nordic: These 14 games were shown at the showcase

On the way to the outdoor pool, preparing for your own birthday party or a crispy barbecue party and only have a little time? No problem, here’s a practical overview of all games from the showcase including the four new announcements:

Alone in the dark
The famous horror series returns to the screen! This reimagining of the very first adventures aims to scare the gamer, returning to notorious locations but offering a whole new story and mythical worlds to explore.

Alone in the Dark is developed by Pieces Interactive in Sweden and will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.

Tempest Rising
Inspired by the famous RTS games of the 90’s and 2000’s, Tempest Rising brings classic RTS including extensive base building to a modern scenario based on an alternative history. base-building, three unique factions fight for a rare resource called Tempest, players can look forward to captivating campaigns as well as tough multiplayer matches.

Tempest Rising is released for PC and is developed by Slipgate Ironworks in Denmark.

Space for Sale
Outer space…infinite, procedurally generated worlds. The year is 2022. These are the adventures of a cute little astronaut on a journey to explore new worlds, new life and new civilizations. Many light years away from Earth, it’s his job to create beautiful living areas for discerning alien customers and always sell them at the highest possible profit!

Space for Sale is an exploration/survival sandbox game developed by Mirage Game Studios from Sweden, known for the wonderful Little Big Workshop.

Racing is awesome! Creating something is awesome! So developer studio Three Fields Entertainment, known for the Burnout series or Need for Speed, combined these two elements in their new game Wreckreation.

With the so-called live mix, you can build or customize the circuit while you (and a few friends) drive it. A new curve here, a jump there – or a giant rubber ducky blocking the way – it’s up to you!

Gothic
Back to the colony! The remake of the most famous German role-playing game of all time is currently being developed by developer Alikima Interactive for PC, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S/X. The new trailer takes you on a journey into the depths of the old mine.

Are you ready to face the horrors that lurk in the dark?

Jagged Alliance 3
Grand Chien needs help – and there is only one mercenary organization that can help the people take back their homeland. Jagged Alliance 3 combines a strategic campaign with intense turn-based tactical combat and role-playing elements.

Mercenaries want to be trained, equipment found and a militia trained. The capture of enemy sectors finances your campaign – you are general and commander and must liberate Grand Chien! Jagged Alliance is developed by Haemimont Games.

Outcast 2 – A New Beginning
Cutter Slade is on another mission: the Talans are waging a desperate war against brutal invaders and only Cutter can save the Talans from annihilation and find the way to a peaceful resolution to the conflict.

Outcast 2 – A New Beginning is being developed by Appeal Studios from Belgium, the game will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.

SpongeBob SquarePants – The Cosmic Shake
are you ready kids SpongeBob embarks on another fantastic new adventure! He and Patrick travel a variety of different dream worlds, each with its own setting and rules.

The game is being developed by the same developer who released SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated: Purple Lamp auf Wien! Dive headfirst into the new adventure on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

AEW: Fight Forever
THQ Nordic and All Elite Wrestling have teamed up with acclaimed Japanese developer YUKE’s to release AEW: Fight Forever!

The game combines nostalgic arcade wrestling with all elite wrestling finishers and moves. AEW: Fight Forever features a large contingent of AEW fighters, diverse match types, an exciting career mode, tons of customization options, over 40 weapons and much more, the game will be released on PS4™, PlayStation 5, Xbox One , Xbox Series S/X, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Knights of Honor II: Sovereign
Your kingdom awaits your commands, Your Majesty! In Knights of Honor II: Sovereign you take control of a medieval kingdom in Europe or North Africa and command knights, merchants, diplomats, espionage or clerics to make your empire the most powerful in the world!

Knights of Honor II: Sovereign is developed by Black Sea Games from Bulgaria, the game will be released exclusively for PC.

Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed
Pathetic people! Crypto’s return is only a few weeks away, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed will be released on August 30, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and and PC. Prepare for the invasion in the new trailer, resistance is futile anyway!

Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is developed by Black Forest Games.

Way of the Hunter
The hunt is almost on! In the brand new trailer for Way of the Hunter, the game flexes all its muscles before its release on August 16th, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X!

The Valiant
In The Valiant, you lead a sworn brotherhood of knights across medieval Europe to stop a mad villain: UIrich von Grevel. He is trying to get hold of an artifact that is as mystical as it is powerful and would give him unholy powers – he must be stopped at all costs!

Developed by Budapest-based Kite Games, The Valiant is coming to PC soon!
