WoW: The best priest items for Confusing Dinar of the Cartel

Every priest wants the Ring of Anduin.

About Fateful Raids or the Confusing dinars of the cartel you can buy exciting items in Season 4 of Shadowlands. We will show you which are particularly worthwhile for the three playing styles of the priest. Each week, a different Shadowlands raid (Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Dominion, or Mausoleum of the First) will be marked as Fateful, and each boss will be given one of four affixes that make the fight a little more exciting.

Once you’ve defeated enough bosses, you’ll get one Confusing dinar of the cartel and may buy an item of your choice. In the next Fateful Raid there’s the next quest for which you have to do exactly the same thing. In total there are only three dinars to earn. We’ll show you which items the warrior prefers with his three ways of playing.

Soulwarped Seal of Wrynn
In addition to weapons and trinkets, the Cartel Merchants also stock Anduin’s Ring from the Mausoleum of the First in exchange for a dinar. This special Priest Ring occasionally grants you +101 Intelligence for 12 seconds. This is super strong and an absolute BiS item, which we recommend for all specs, unless you already own a version of the ring with a relatively high item level. Because the proc does not increase significantly with increasing item level or not so much that it compensates for a weapon or piece of jewelry with a significantly higher item level. Anduin’s seal has item level 278 at the dealer, the fateful normal version has the same item level, among other things, but can of course be upgraded.

Cabalist Hymnal
Crit scales excellently for the Shadow Priest because higher Critical Strike triggers Auspicious Spirits more often. The cabalist’s hymnal, which drops from Count Denathrius, provides a good “crit”. Since the Count is likely to be quite a chunk in Destiny Mode, we recommend that you buy the book from the retailer.

In a perfect world, you’ll still get the BiS trinket during Legion Timewalking week Moonlit Prism by Cordana Teufelssang from Dungeon of the Wardens, which you gradually upgrade with bravery points and consequently you don’t have to buy a second trinket from the mediators. For more effective farming of this Legion trinket, it’s best to visit the Warden’s Dungeon on low difficulty levels. If you don’t get the Legion trinket, you can purchase Shadow Orb of Torment from the Midwayers (see the “Holy” section of this page).

Rygelon has the best weapon ready for caster classes. Unfortunately, it's a one-handed weapon - so you'll still need to find a good offhand one.

Antumbra, shadow of the cosmos
In your main hand you want to carry the Rygelon weapon Antumbra. In addition to a high item level, you will receive a buff called singularity from the weapon through your offensive spells, which grants ten points of versatility and speed per stack. Once you reach 20 stacks, the bonuses are doubled and last for 20 seconds. This causes a lot of additional damage, which you build up along the way. If you keep an eye on the stacks, you can combine the additional effect, in which the value bonus doubles, with strong cooldowns such as Void Eruption and cause even more damage.

If you save the coin for the second piece of jewellery, you can choose to invest it in the offhand Forbidden Truth, which normally only drops from Trash enemies in the Mausoleum of the First. Then you have strong items in both weapon slots and cause maximum damage.

Soulwarped Seal of Wrynn
You choose the Ring of Anduin from the Mausoleum of the First mentioned at the beginning if you have the luxury of having the Legion-Trinket as a second piece of jewelry next to the hymnal Moonlit Prism by Cordana Felsong from Vault of the Wardens. Otherwise you can choose to Shadow Orb of Torment to grab.

Antumbra, shadow of the cosmos
Rygelon’s weapon has two advantages: high item level (always good for a weapon) and an additional effect. With your offensive spells, you build up the Singularity buff, which grants ten points of versatility and speed per stack. Once you reach 20 stacks, the bonuses are doubled and last for 20 seconds.

Sanctum Boss Shadow Orb of Torment is of particular interest to healers. In exchange for some health, you'll get massive mastery for up to 40 seconds.

So you always get a massive versatility bonus from the Rygelon weapon. Compared to Disci and Shadow, you can even control the timing of the additional proc that doubles the bonuses. Because when you use offensive spells, you can choose. Then, before using Holy Word: Redemption, for example, you can trigger the Versatility proc to increase your healing even further. The only disadvantage of the weapon: You then have to find an offhand option. If you prefer to have a strong two-handed weapon right away, grab it Cursed Opus (Kel’Thuzad)

Shadow Orb of Torment
This use trinket from Sanctum boss Ner’zhul drains you of some life points for a short time at the push of a button, but grants you almost 546 points of mastery for 40 seconds. That’s about 30 percent mastery, which you have for 40 seconds and can activate again after 80 seconds thanks to the trinket effect’s just two-minute cooldown.
