Genshin Impact: Massive update 3.0 coming at the end of August – This is in it

HoYoverse has announced the major update 3.0 for Genshin Impact, which is scheduled for release on August 24th, 2022.

Under the name “A thousand roses awaken in the morning”, the update gives you access to Sumeru, the fourth of seven major cities in the game.

A new elemental

Also waiting for you is the Dendro Element, the last part of the system of the seven elements in Genshin Impact. With that one starts a new chain of elementary reactions.

“The dendro element, in contact with the pyro, hydro and electric elements, can trigger three basic reactions: flaming, sprouting and sprouting,” it says. “In combat, the last two reactions can evolve into other reactions.”

In the Sumeru Rainforest, you can also transform some plants that have the Dendro power into Hydro, Pyro, or Electric powers. Mushrooms have evolved into a species of their own here, the Fungal Beasts, who defend their homeland.

There are new dendro figures to match the new element. These are the 5-star character Tighnari and the 4-star character Collei. You can recruit Collei for free by completing the main action “Schinitzen der Kindlichkeit” in Update 3.0.

Tighnari, Collei and Zhongli are available in the first half of the update, Dori is available later on the return of Ganyu and Sangonomiya Kokomi in the Action Prayer.
